Through the Lens of God
A biography of Alan Graham

The story of Alan Graham and Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
How did Alan Graham, an onery kid from an upper-scale Houston suburb who in his spare time, him and his buds would ‘borrow’ cars and take them to a vacant lot and bash them up until they wouldn’t run any more, “It was a lot of fun”, become the Founder and CEO of Mobile loaves and Fishes, Austin Texas’ most successful Non Profit for addressing Austin / Travis County homeless issues?
There once was and still is an incredibly devoted Catholic named Alan Graham.
One day in his devotion he said, “God what do you want me to do? Do you want me to join the Knights of Columbus? Do you want me to cook barbecue on Sunday for everyone? What is it?”
Now, that is not the way God works. It would be like telling a construction crew to build a building without a blueprint. It just doesn’t work that way.
It has to be a step by step revelation that you discover and learn for your self, and after that is learned and conquered, to discover and learn the next lesson. This is a process that does not end. It is more of a continual thing, which is what we do in our everyday life in its many trials, tribulations and learnings.
This area of Alan’s life was with a God focus, in one of the podcasts Alan has done he described this process as “Through the Lens of God.”
The more I learn, discover and ponder Alan, the more amazing he becomes. Alan is from an upper-class Houston suburb and through associations became what he terms a “Serial Real estate Developer.”
